We
would like to thank Jeanne Londe and her friend Archie for attending the
PHYSICIANS FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY – LOS ANGELES (PSR-LA) Nuclear Library
Donation Event at ACME. Jeanne’s late husband Sol Londe, brought the Rocketdyne
Issue to PSR-LA decades ago and since then PSR-LA has been at the forefront of
all issues relating to the Nuclear and Chemical Cleanup of the Santa Susana
Field Laboratory.

A
new Special Edition DVD of “The Day the Earth Stood Still” includes PSR-LA’s
1982 anti-nuclear documentary, “Race to Oblivion” as a DVD featurette. Edmund
North, who wrote and produced “The Day the Earth Stood Still,” also wrote and
helped produce PSR-LA’s documentary. Physicians
